Meetings and Conferences

Join us on campus for your next business meeting or presentation.

We have a wide variety of rooms available including classrooms, small and large conference rooms, performance halls, and dining accommodations.

Because the college's primary mission is the teaching process with our undergraduates, during our academic year facilities are available on a limited basis. During school breaks and the summer months we maintain an active schedule with groups like your own.

Popular Facilities

  • Duke Family Performance Hall: Our primary performance facility, the hall can seat 600 people, is outfitted with top-notch audio-visual resources, and includes a vast stage area for performances or conferences.
  • Lilly Family Gallery: An elegant sun-lit room, the Gallery provides a neutral palate that can be transformed with flowers and place settings to your taste. Its open floor plan allows it to be transformed from conference room, to wedding space with dance floor, to performance venue.
  • Vail Commons: Vail is our main dining facility, perfect for large group dining. Diners enjoy a wonderful view of our campus landscape through towering 40-foot windows that constitute the entire northern exposure of the building. Built-in speakers and a large projection screen allow you to communicate to your guests and share presentations. Within Vail Commons a small private dining room is also available-the DuPont Room-where more intimate dinners can occur.
  • General Meeting Rooms: We have a wide range of room sizes available for meetings, each well outfitted with presentation technology.

Overnight Conferences

During the Academic School Year

The Carnegie Guest House itself has a total of eight bedrooms. Our drawing room can additionally serve as a meeting place, but only when a client rents all eight overnight rooms. This request must be made well in advance of your event in order to find dates when the house has no reservations and there are no conflicting college events. Please email Molly Staszak at mostaszak@davidson.edu for more information.

During the Summer

(From Commencement in mid-May to Early August)

Clients may enjoy small and large meeting spaces, dining facilities, overnight accommodations, classrooms and athletic fields. The college does not provide "full-service" conference assistance meaning each camp or conference is required to conduct their own registration and fee collection. But each summer camp or conference is assigned a conference assistant who will work closely with you to make your event a success. Please email Ashley Bhalodia at asbhalodia@davidson.edu for more information.
