Background

As Assistant Director for the Chidsey Program for Leadership Development, I am responsible for coordinating the logistics and marketing materials for various programs and events, such as the Katherine M. Bray Women鈥檚 Leadership Conference and semi-annual Chidsey Leadership Lecture.

Additionally, I work alongside the Director to develop and deliver leadership curriculum, coach Chidsey Leadership Fellows one-on-one, lead recruitment efforts for the Chidsey Leadership Fellows Program, and serve as a member of the WildcatSync implementation team.

I previously served in a number of capacities at Salem College and UNC Greensboro where my passion for fostering community and creating opportunities for student development and leadership grew through my experiences in student activities, orientation, EDIB, and housing. While at Salem College, I developed a three-year leadership development program that incorporated components of skill development, mentorship and coaching, and practical application through employment opportunities.

The reciprocal nature of learning and educating is a core value of mine that I incorporate into my daily work and interactions. I believe it is important to meet students where they are in their college and life journeys while encouraging and holding them accountable to discover and pursue opportunities for continued growth and development.
